Hey everyone!

Steam Next Fest '26 is finally arrived - and for those who chose to live under a rock in the past years, I'm talking about the event by Valve in which lots and lots of demos of games are published and can be tested before the date of release - and I went throught a few games in my wishlist 😁

Let's-a go!

Edenfall: legacy of the first wardens

Unveil a mystical action-adventure where you shift between human, wolf, raccoon, and raven. Weave fluid combos across forms, purge corruption, and awaken the land’s lost beauty. Together with your spirit fox companion, embark on a soulbound journey of transformation, memory, and inner peace.

Playing as a druid (sorta)? Shapeshifting? A pettable spirit fox companion?
You son of a -REDACTED-, I'm in.

While I quite enjoyed the gameplay, I had some difficulties with the graphics that looked extremely rough, BUT that may be a demo issue, not the game per se :)

What I liked

  • it's an indie game;
  • it's built without AI ;
  • reminds me of Kena Bridge of spirits;
  • lots of fluid combos using different styles;

What I didn't like

  • very rough around the edges (but, could be a demo issue);
  • extra-toony graphics;

So?

I will definitely keep an eye on this one!

The journey into the adult life is basically moving on uncharted areas of the map. And there, there be dragons.
